The Heritage

Eleven drawings are a narrative of a part of our family’s history, which was strongly influenced by the labor organization and strike at the paper factory in Količevo in 1935, in which my grandfather and grandmother were actively involved. It is a reminder of the legacy of workers’ organization, pre World War 2 Popular front activities, the Liberation Front (Osvobodilna fronta) in WWII and post-war socialist workers’ self-management, as well as a call for today’s coming together in solidarity for a better world.
